Earlier this month, a robin built a nest on my balcony and I discovered that she laid eggs! So I quickly got to work and set up a camera to monitor the birth of her brood. I made this greeting card to help tell their story:
I also put together the following video using some images captured by a motion-activated trigger.
The Python script I wrote to convert a list of images into an mp4 video can be found here on GitHub. Overall, I captured about 150GB of continuous footage. If I ever come up with a way to extract interesting clips efficiently, I’ll try to put together a more entertaining video. The camera I used is a Wyze Cam v3.
